The following is a blog found on the internet posted by James Smith about his recent travels to America. He is doing a three month tour of the USA to see wine country. He wants to taste all of the wines in Napa Valley. The blog is called Globe Trotter.

Tuesday May 31st 9:25 a.m.
I have prepared all of my things to leave for San Francisco. I will be at the airport at 10 AM tomorrow. I have a direct flight. The last time I visited was years ago. I am preparing all of the things I will need for the trip. Also I had a meeting with a few friends. They want to get regular reports from me so I will have to stay in touch. I will try to keep this blog updated. We will see how well it goes. Globe Trotter.

So much for regular updates. Well at least I am trying. I have been to San Francisco, and I am now in Napa valley. Last week I visited several vineyards including Woodbridge. I have sent several reports back to you guys in Australia (with pictures). My friends think that I am not trying hard enough. I better keep them happy. I have met tourists from around the world here. I met a guy from China Peter Chow, who is looking to import wines from California to China.

Saturday June 31st 6:04 p.m.
I am back in San Fransisco and I have a few days off. I will have a chance to visit Monterey California. I hear they have an amazing aquarium. I think I will be back in Australia next week. I will send updates.

I missed my flight back to Australia. Amazing. I will now have to go through Hawaii. It has been an amazing trip. I hope to be in Europe in the fall. I will keep you updated.
