Lesson 25: Imperative

Introduction:

The imperative is used to express an order or a wish.
The subject is implied but not expressed.

Structure:

(first person plural -we- and the second singular and plural forms -you- )
Verb / Do not + verb / Let’s + verb. Let’s not + verb.

Examples:

Go to work.
Do not go to work.
Don’t go to work.
Let’s go to work.
Let’s not go to work.
Let us not go to work.
