Lesson 37: Although Thought etc...

Introduction:

although, though, despite, in spite of are conjunctions.
They are used in the subordinate clause and must be accompanied by a principle clause.

Structure:

although / though + subject (subject clause)
in spite of / despite + noun

Examples:

Although you might think the problem is complex, I have a solution.
Though you think the problem is complex, I have a solution.
Despite the problem, I have a solution.
In spite of the problem, we have a solution.
