Use there are around 250 irregular verbs. Here are a few less commonly used irregular verbs:
awake / awoke / awaken
retake / retook / retaken
stick / stuck / stuck
uphold / upheld / upheld
preset / preset / preset
sink / sank / sunk
undo / undid / undone
grind / ground / ground

Structure:

These irregulars are similar to all verbs. Simple, past and past participle must be used as with regular verbs.

Examples:

The company had not struck a deal with the supplier in time.
The decision has not been upheld by the court.
