Lesson 43: In, as, much etc...

Introduction:

seeing that: is used to add information that is in consequence (like because).
in that: is used to present an idea of consequence (like since).
due to: is used to describe something that is a consequence of (because of).
in as much as: is used to describe something in contrast.

Structure:

All of the structures are used in the subordinate clause and require a principle clause to complete the communication.

Examples:

Seeing that you are in town perhaps you would like to visit.
In that you feel you have completed the project, would you like to tell me about it?
Due to the problem in the project, we will delay the presentation.
In as much as I would like to get together, I do not think I will have time.
