Lesson 7: Irregular Verbs

Introduction:

Unfortunately, in English we have a vast number of irregular verbs.
The best way to learn them is to practice. (especially for the past and past participle)

Structure:

Regular verbs
talk / talked / talked
I talked to Jack.
Similar to regular verbs with the exception of the verb itself.
Irregular verbs
eat / ate / eaten
I ate with John.
Remember with did you keep the simple for of the verb.
I did not go to work. (simple for of the verb)

Examples:

I forgot the time of the meeting.
You didn’t forget the time of the meeting.
Did you forget the time of the meeting?
Didn’t you forget the time of the meeting?
